Hydroponics

This sunflower in our classroom is up to the ceiling.

We are blossoming now.

Our biggest sunflower was transplanted. We brought it to the Educational Foundation Breakfast!

More plants competing for UV rays. We can’t wait to plant them outside.

The purple flowers are morning glory vines.

: It’s a jungle back there in the back of our classroom. Hoping warm weather is coming soon.

The plants in the Hydroponic system are growing daily. Amazing!!!

Measuring progress.

Reaching for the light- Phototropism.

The sunflower grew so large that we had to transplant it into soil. It was shading the other plants.We were forced to cut some of the roots to remove it from the hydroponic system. We hope it will not be too much of a shock to the plant.

: We have set up the hydroponics kit and are seeing great results.
